Strength: Empty rhetoric or core value?

Strength means different things for different people. To many, it simply means little more than a delegation. For example, I've heard executives say: & # 39; I support my staff by giving them responsibility for this project. To others, the intensity is political and is considered part of the struggle for equality and social justice.

Literature grant means giving power to an individual or a group of people, but as with the discussion of gender equality on the previous page, we should be very wary of relying too much on literal definition. Power is not something that can be given in a direct or tangible way, because power is not a physical product. Perhaps a better way to get an understanding of seeing it as a way to help people gain control over their lives and circumstances. That way they become more powerful and then enriched by the experience.

Unfortunately, authentication is often used in a simple way with little or no evidence of sensitivity and complexity. Much of this confusion comes from a word of root intensity, ie. power. If people have an overwhelming sense of power, that's why they also have an insight into the power of authority. What is often not recognized is that there are different types of power:

Personal power: charisma, affecting talent, self-confidence and so on.

Position Power: Power arising from the role, status or status of someone.

Discursive Power: The power that comes from ideas or assumptions and forms of language, for example, the power that a member of the medical profession derives from a known medical certificate.

Strength of power: The relationship between the structure of society, for example, with regard to such factors as class, racial and gender.

If we intend to take full strength as a fundamental value that promotes well-being, we need to be clear each time we use the term, the types or forces we refer to. If not, the result can be even more confusion and people lose interest and believe in the idea. But why should we promote promotion? What makes it appropriate to promote well-being? Well, let's consider the choice.

In terms of social well-being, choosing to promote creativity is essential because people in need of help and support are dependent on professional help to meet their needs rather than helping to cope with their own problems and meet their own needs as far as possible. It takes us back to the old days of elitism when the principle was & # 39; we know best. This means that relationships between help workers and their clients are based on communication rather than working in partnership. In terms of ease at work, insufficient ease means that people are not supported to maximize their potential (something that is missing not only the individuals but also the organization as a whole and all its stakeholders). Lack of control at work is also recognized as an important factor in the development of stress in the workplace. People can often control quite a lot of pressure when it is in control, but can start to emphasize when they think they do not have control. (A particularly stressful scenario is when people are responsible for a particular topic but do not control it).

Strengthening the core value of our efforts to enhance well-being is an important company, but we must ensure that we base our efforts on a sufficiently advanced understanding of what enrichment is and not allow to reduce the simple level.
