Behavioral leadership is not really a leader. Instead, it is a study of what kind of actions and behaviors involve what we can call leadership styles. This study involves a cross-disciplinary approach to understanding the phenomenon of leadership and how leaders can effectively engage with their followers.
Behavioral management differs from state of affairs, which tends to focus on successful management styles, depending on the various attempts found in the leadership and organization environment.
This is a kind of social science research because it does not depend on the "hard" science to reach an understanding. It looks rather like case studies and procedures in rare cases to view the behavior shown by leaders at various times and circumstances.
Among those who spoke for behavioral health are Kurt Lewin, Ronald Lipitt and Ralph White. They started doing this again in 1939 by publishing their work on the impact of management and style performance. Based on their research, they identified three leadership elements based on conduct of leaders.
1) Secret leadership style. This type of leader takes a decision alone and they do not participate in others. They give orders and expect to track 100% of the time. The leader also prescribes the right way to do it and is removed from followers.
2) Democratic leadership style. There is more involvement and consultation in this form of leadership. Communicating democratic leaders on a group of discussions and input from knowledgeable experts. Elections have come on the basis of solidarity oroting. This works best in an environment where people know each other and they are somewhat assertive of what they want to happen.
3. Laissez Faire leadership. The group rules in this situation! A leader has left his leadership and just releases his people to do his own thing. This is dangerous in situations that require assistance from the leader. But in situations where every member of the team is qualified and can be considered an expert, this title can easily be won!
These types of leadership can be easily enforced in various business situations. You just have to be sensitive to the situation and needs of the organization. If you just use one over another because it's your choice, you'll be rigid. More than you will be too unstable. And it will be the source of weaknesses in your leadership and in your business. Choose carefully. Style leadership is in addition to achieving the vision and goals of the company.
