Directors – Transactional Leadership

Business Manager is the person who, as the name suggests, relates to his team and projects in terms of "business". His decisions are often based on tangible benefits and losses, benefits and penalties, results and exhibitions. Between commercial banks and transformers, the business manager is much more common.

Business management involves a relationship between the leader or managing director and his team who is carrot-and-stick in nature. This means saying team members are rewarded when they perform an action that has a good impact on team performance and they are punished when doing an action that has a detrimental effect on the team. Prizes and punishments are often used to let the team know about the appropriate and desired action to take. Obviously, the business management style is highly based on "exchanges" in interests and liabilities or "business". As such, it is also worth remembering that the business manager is often also a self-governing leader, emphasizing punishment and salary to encourage his team.

In the case of activities, the business manager may be considered a project. Business Manager makes decisions based on the best results. That is to say, the business manager would allocate resources, manpower, time and money based on what he thinks would be right to stop right away, for example, putting the best people in the job.

As seen, a business manager is very well positioned. This leadership factor makes the conversion feature good for success. It would be particularly effective in the short term success in need but long term performance is secondary.

If long-term performance is equally important, the business relationship style would not be desirable, as little emphasis is placed on investment of resources, such as people's development and asset growth.
