Importance and value of emotional strength in the workplace

We often see people of some cultures have special emotional strengths greater than others. It is considered acceptable, and they may be more exciting, passionate, exotic, laughing, and even crying in front of others. However, these impressions of emotions are often considered unacceptable within North America. Maybe they should be?

Research shows that creative talents are emotionally intense and have a rich inner life (Piechowski, 1991). Many entrepreneurs are talented. Enhanced emotions are often a stimulus that helps produce great art, memorable music, dramatic plays, captivating literature and dramatic performances. Despite being experts – animated conductors, passive actors and majestic ballerinas are acceptable. Why not a foreigner, a playful business partner?

Perhaps we should also be enduring a passion in the business world and helping people reach a higher artistic level. Leaders might dare to express themselves more artfully and creatively. Continuous, proper, consistent, and political-often-seen, true-to-life business sentiment is our worst silent enemy killing creativity, possibly great ideas and solutions.

To be passionate in love with a man's work, the meaning of existence provides. It is truly one of the great blessings of life and it is used to drive a business can have a positive impact. Emotional strength causes people to love their work, be more playful and analytic with information and encourage them to dream bigger. They put more time, effort and gusto into what they do.

Many people are disturbed when a professional "loses it". The armor has been pierced and "weakness" is affected. Man is obviously not strong enough or up to the challenge. He or she is considered too weak to be a good manager or director. (think about what happens when you see politicians crying publicly)

Dabrowski and Piechowski (1977) show that "emotional overpressure" is very much related to great intelligence. Piechowski (1991) defines "emotional overpressure" as "the great depth and intensity of emotional life described by numerous emotions, attachments, compassion, increased sense of responsibility, and accurate self-test". Isn't this what we want more in people who run our governments, economies, and communities? Emotions help people stay who they are.

Unfortunately, the North American culture does not look at increased emotional value. Like small children, we are often told to stop crying and be strong. When we fire – especially boys – these words are strengthened and repeated. "Be Man" is difficult but can be done. In schools, large amounts of energy are used to control behavior, thinking and emotions within the social process. Narrow emotions, however, impede energy, creativity, and encouragement. It is also bad for physical and mental health. Is it any wonder that adults in the workplace are often closed and stiff? They have learned to do only "safe" things and behave safely.

Our responsibility is to be emotionally alive in many ways. This leads to being a good model for sensitivity and honoring sensitivity as a positive symptom. If we do not give emotional sensitivity and strength, stop the corrosion of healthy emotional development. Graduation leads to emotional and intellectual mediocrity, stress and illness. Perhaps this explains why we have such a rampant lack of care and sensitivity to life on our planet. Emotional intensity should be allowed, supported and not squelched.

Here are some fairly acceptable ways to bring more emotional power into the workplace:

– laugh well when something is funny. Controlled smiles and reserved nodes are easily considered fake. Tell jokes and funny stories. Back, jokes acknowledge what they are. Laugh on bugs and goof-ups.

– Don't take it so seriously. Play is the work of children. Work should be an adult play.

– Encourage freedom of thought – no matter how wild, crazy, stupid or stupid ideas may seem. Sometimes, ideas from the thoughts can be most important. After thoughts and ideas are open in the open, then throw, modify, improve or embrace and accept. Being too careful can hurt you and your business as much as recklessness.

– nurture an environment where it is acceptable to make mistakes. When they happen, focus on solutions rather than problems. Help people correct them and set a good example of not being typical and punishable.

– Do not teach or punish people for errors or faults. We all do them! Let people apologize and feel bad. Help universities and friends, strengthen and protect others, encourage them to do better next time.

– when it is successful, allow yourself and others to be a little more executive in expressing emotions. Dancing, encouraging, refreshing, yee-haw, clapping should be recognized as a normal human response. Emote !!

– crying, sobing, teeth up should be acceptable in the business environment. Perhaps the issue is discussed at a meeting so that people are treated with respect, kindness and compassion and can respond in a natural and appropriate manner.

– feelings of anger, resentment, anger, confusion, despair in extreme stress situations could be aerated in a "safe" and soundproofed room later. Gospoka can be useful.
